Support Groups

If you or a loved one has experienced a Brain Injury, it can feel isolating and scary not knowing how to navigate the changes.

You are not alone – here are some acquired brain injury (ABI) support groups and peer‑support resources you can connect with.

Peer support and community connection plays a vital role in rehabilitation.

Kings Park Warriors

Kings Park Warriors aim to create a safe and inclusive space for individuals with ABIs and their families. We organise support groups, educational workshops, recreational activities, and community events to foster a sense of belonging and promote overall well-being.

Synapse
Connections Group

Join Synapse to connect with others living with a brain injury. Carers, families, and partners are also welcome.

Reconnections groups provide those impacted by brain injury the opportunity to chat, provide support, education, and share some challenges and victories.

Come and hear other people’s stories and learn about different experiences of brain injury and issues that are important to you in a supportive space with people who understand.

Reconnections are held monthly and are accessible online via MS Teams for those unable to get to the venue. Tea, Coffee, and Light Refreshments Provided.
